Il Torrino Country Resort is located in a strategic position ideal to explore Tuscany, from the famous cities of art to the smallest villages surrounded by countryside, on rolling hills with vineyards and olive groves, connected by evocative country roads.
The main Tuscan art cities of Florence, Siena, Luccaand Pisaare close to Torrino and you can reach them in one hour by car.
There are other towns absolutely worth a visit which are also easily reacheable from our resort: San Gimignano, Volterra, San Miniato, Colle Val d’Elsa and Certaldo. These are some of the most renowned Medieval villages only 20 minutes away by car.
Not too far away (around 50 km) you will find the coast: from Versilia to Maremma, the Tuscan coast will surprise you with sceneries of unusual beauty.

We have fallen in love with Ponte Vecchio, where we have bought wonderful diamonds. Here’s a tip: go to Castelfiorentino by car, park your car in the square and catch a train to Florence (stressfree trip)… San Gimignano is fantastic and it’s really worth visiting.
Aside from this we have freshened up by the pool, cooked on the BBQ hidden from paparazzi!!! Have fun, relax and be adventurous in sighseeing!
Perfectly located, comfortable apartment and perfectly equipped. We could not have expected more! We will highly recommend it to our friends in Belgium.
